Amazing as in lame? He's obviously walking on glass just under the surface. Thats why you never see anyone swimming in front of behind him. Its a pretty old trick.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't glass below him (explain his shoe sinking)
The way he walked there appeared to be a thin string or strings thin enough to be almost impossible to see.
